Hi there, my name's Ruth. I'm an artist and photographer who lives out in the middle of rural England with my partner and my rescue Lurcher pup Izzy ♥
I'm a lover of nature, and all things artsy, vintage, shabby and textured. I share with you my take on life, through my viewfinder and my paintbrushes here on my website & blog.
I qualified as a fine artist and interior designer over twenty years ago but life took some twists and turns along the way which took me away from art for many years...my lifelong passion with photography re-emerged about four years ago, which is leading me back to art again...I see a definite pattern of colour, texture, photography and experimenting with various mediums running through my life!

I'm a lover of learning and continue to broaden my Photoshop and Lightroom horizons as well as continuing my creative journey in paint and mixed media. It's my creative journey that, for me and I believe, for many of you, helps us to know ourselves better. I've always believed that if we experiment, we learn, and when we push past the boundaries of what we already know, that's when we have 'aha!' moments. I hope I'm able to inspire you to experiment more and have fun creatively!
